The Paradox of Success

Letting Go to Achieve

Difference of the Day #139

Success, much like happiness, is a paradoxical pursuit. The more you aim at it, the more it eludes you.

Success is not a target to be chased but a by-product of dedication to a cause greater than oneself. When you immerse yourself fully in a mission or surrender yourself to a relationship, success ensues naturally.

This phenomenon occurs because genuine commitment generates intrinsic value, which in turn attracts success.

By fixating on success, you fall into the trap of superficial efforts and miss the deeper essence of achievement. Instead, align your actions with profound purposes.

Let go of the obsession with outcomes. Focus on mastering your craft, contributing to others, and nurturing meaningful connections.

In doing so, you will find that success sneaks up on you quietly, unexpectedly, and without the fanfare you once sought. It’s in this surrender to the process and dedication to the greater good that true success resides.

“Success cannot be pursued; it ensues from dedication to a cause greater than oneself.” (Share this on X)
