Life's Not an Infinite Buffet
Stop Living Like You'll Last Forever
19 days left in the quarter.
Difference of the Day #267
Why do we shop for groceries as if preparing for an eternal feast, yet treat our dreams like leftovers to be consumed "someday"? Time, that sneaky pickpocket of life, doesn't send us a calendar invitation for its final appointment.
Think about it - we meticulously plan our retirement at 65, schedule dentist appointments for next year, and save unopened bottles of wine for "special occasions." Meanwhile, our fate hovers above like an impatient waiter, check in hand, ready to close our tab at any moment.
Here's the delicious irony: we're all temporary guests at life's restaurant, yet we browse the menu as if we own the place. We postpone joy, stockpile regrets, and treat time like an unlimited credit card that never needs repayment.
Want the truth? Your expiration date is already printed - you just can't read it. So maybe it's time to stop living like an immortal planning for eternity.
Today, Make A Difference.
