The Compass of Joy

Self-sufficiency in the Pursuit of Happiness

74 days left in the quarter.

Difference of the Day #212

Self-deception is humanity's greatest vice. Smile, and you'll find happiness waiting where it started—within. Many self-help gurus preach finding joy outside oneself, but a rose doesn't need the garden's praise to bloom.

Life isn't fair, it's real.

Like a gardener quietly working amidst the chaos, cultivate happiness internally. In our pursuit, we often mimic Sisyphus, rolling the stone of contentment uphill while ignoring the pleasure of the climb. Consider the happy pianist: they play for the joy of it, not for applause.

When we examine the labyrinth of the human condition, it feels less daunting if happiness isn't outsourced.

It all begins with a smile turned inward.

Today, Make A Difference.
