Choosing Long-Term Happiness

Embrace Change and Overcome Obstacles

4 days left in the quarter.

Difference of the Day #98

Do more of what brings you happiness in the long run.

Choose what makes you happy in the long term between what feels right now and what is easy.

Accept the reality that your image of yourself in the future may not align with your desires once you arrive there.

Embrace change. Our desires today differ significantly from those we had a decade ago.

Our interactions with others and the information we consume shape us, which is why our desires and ourselves evolve.

At first glance, doing more of what makes you happy might seem like an invitation to take the easy way out. In reality, the opposite is true, as the path to happiness often involves overcoming obstacles.

Remember: if something is easy now, it will present challenges in the future; if it is difficult now, it will benefit you.

Obstacles drive our progress, and progress brings a sense of happiness.

Choose to pursue what truly makes you happy.

Today, Make A Difference.
