Moments of Awareness in an Ephemeral World

16 days left in the quarter.

Difference of the Day #86

While you were still asleep, the stars quietly disappeared, making way for the arrival of dawn. Like an artist, the sun painted the sky with shades of pink, creating a beautiful blend of colors before you wake up. Even though you missed the final moments of this stunning display, the grandeur of the golden sunrise remained undiminished.

Today, you will perform many deeds. Some will be recognized, others will go unnoticed.

When you act, do it with excellence for your own personal gratification.

In Hollywood's heyday, a graphic artist named Saul Bass created what would become iconic film title sequences. He stated, "I want to create beautiful things, even if nobody cares.

Today, do not seek external approval. No amount of 'likes' can attest to your worth. Instead, operate from an internal source of motivation. You are the witness that really counts.

Success lies in pleasing yourself and finding pleasure in what you do and how you do it.

So, give yourself a moment. Close your eyes and ask yourself three questions. Inhaling, reflect on what you love about yourself.

Exhaling, remind yourself of what you appreciate about your work. Open your eyes and ask yourself: What do you love about the way you do it?

Even if it is not your ideal job, these are moments of your life to be lived fully.

You are a conscious, vital, and active human being, and your time is precious. How you accomplish what you do is as important as the result itself.

Use this deep conscious breathing as a reminder throughout the day. Establish moments to rekindle the connection with your work whenever you wish.

This day has come, and it will pass. Of this we can be sure.

Make it a day where you made a difference? Well, that’s up to you.

Today, Make A Difference.
