The Art of Prioritization

Making Choices That Matter

46 days left in the quarter.

Difference of the Day #56

It is always a matter of choice.

What you choose to do indicates your priority at that given moment.

There's no point in kidding yourself. The 'I don't have time' excuse is a big load of crap.

Good intentions don't make a difference; actions do.

You can choose to focus on the things that matter or allow yourself to be overwhelmed by a sea of distractions. It is a choice.

The problem with procrastination on essential things is that they will become urgent at some point and include a hidden cost that you are paying now.

A task left undone remains so in two places: where you should do it and in your head. Unfinished tasks in your head consume the energy of your attention.

The solution lies in setting limits on what we do. We can make the best use of our time by focusing on the most important things instead of everything.

This is done by deliberately procrastinating on the less important things.

But you should know what they are, shouldn't you?

That's why you have to take time to reflect and work out what they are.

How you organize projects, prioritize, and manage your energy is more important than the quality of the ideas you want to pursue.

Block out time in your agenda to think and reflect.

Today, Make A Difference.
